Best news I have heard all month, hee hee. SATC 2 did not break $100 MM domesticaly although it did much better at $172 MM overseas. Usually in movies, the producer sells the foreign rights to finance the movie so they do not see a cent of that foreign box office. The budget has been estimated at $100 MM add another $30 MM for marketing and distribution.

It was the clothes and the shoes. They could have put any actresses in those fashions and done just as well. Each character had a distinct style. Charlotte was more innocent and kinda preppy and demure and understated. Miranda was more business-like. Samantha was tight and low-cut and skanky. Carrie was really trendy and sometimes quirky. It was all about the clothes, shoes and accessories.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say SJP is completely unattractive, no doubt she’s not a classic beauty.

I think honestly though is that her makeup is always completely overdone. I don’t know why but every time I see a photo of her she’s got too much of the wrong kind of makeup on.
