FIFA Considering Extra Officials, Not Video Review Ah great. A few more corrupted officials on the field -- just what we need. FIFA's silence in regards to the Germany-England goal in question is deafening. They're acting like a super-secret organization and that's just wrong, wrong, wrong!

They had those extra officials in the Europa League already. I don’t remember them doing a lot of good, however. They rarely ever intervened, and when it counted, they were looking somewhere else and missed what had happened. At least that’s my personal experience.

NO video reviews! I know, I know, it’s so unAmerican, we expect perfection every time after all, and would not terribly mind lawyers and lawsuits to determine the winners. Cheeps in balls ought to solve one problem, but the missed offsides, fouls and mistakes are and have always been part of the game.
