I like brussels sprouts but I have no idea why. Maybe because they are just little cabbages, and I like cabbage if it isn’t cooked to death.
Broccoli is good. And any vegetable (except eggplant) that is smothered in butter is edible for the most part. I even like turnips and parsnips. Thank my dad for that. Or my European ancestors...
I like turnips, too, although I don’t think I’ve ever had a parsnip. Mom would cook turnips only because Dad wanted them.
Beets are the best.
Lots and LOTS of butter on my ‘sprouts.
