So do i no longer need a CCW? Can I legally convert a semi to full auto? If so must I register it as a class 3 weapon and get the tax stamp/background investigation? Does it impact current federal law?

Correct! MILLIONS of people go through life without carrying concealed weapons, and you can legally be part of that crowd!

Can I legally convert a semi to full auto?

Of course you can!

First, remove the trailer hitch. Next, add a rear seat. Then, add a quieter muffler to the exhaust stack, and attend to any emissions control issues, to comply with auto laws. Finally, exchange the semi registration for regular auto plates, and you'll be set!
