Almost immediately the idiot employee picked up the cake which smeared around the inside of the plastic case and tried sticking it in a different basket.
I told him PUT DOWN THE CAKE AND GO GET ME ANOTHER ONE.
He advanced on me and I provided him some words he hadn't heard of before ~ I figure he outweighed me 100 pounds and was a foot taller, and probably 40 years younger. So, I stepped toward him, the cashier ran away from the cash register, other customers stepped backwards and I prepared to push his nasty mouth all over the store. My son who is a foot taller, a hundred pounds heavier, 40 years younger, and really, really, really rugged looking with his Paul Bunyon beard advanced forward with me.
The punk turned and ran and I shouted after him DON'T COME BACK IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU.
The manager came over to see what was up ~ he went and got me a new cake.
I asked him to make sure that young buck got fired because if I came in again and he was there I was prepared to protect myself.
