geez... get this reporter some kneepads- this was NOT a Truman/McCarthur moment....
I don't recall it being "tense" at all.
It seemed pretty obvious that McChrystal was gonna get the axe as soon as the story broke.
The only surprise was that they didn't drag it out longer to hype the dramatic effect.

The only surprise was that they didn't drag it out longer to hype the dramatic effect. Right on. I guess they waited till the cue was out to say "Brilliant" over and over , until it rivaled the word "unprecedented" for its unprecedented over use .
