No. What you mean is a "silver goal", which is a variant they tried after the golden goal didn't work as expected.

No. What you mean is a "silver goal", which is a variant they tried after the golden goal didn't work as expected. Thanks. Actually, I watch so little soccer, I never heard of a silver goal, but it was plain the extra periods could be handled either way. Thirty minutes is lot of extra time.
