The no-explanation really rankles. Add to that the ref today disallowed another clean goal. We will never be allowed to win this thing.
For FIFA, it seems counter-intuitive that they would be against the US.
The US represents the largest and most lucrative untapped market out there for soccer. If anything, they should want to US to do well.
Well he did explain it! He said it was an offside goal!
Ok the linesman was wrong (Believe me there is no match without at least one wrong offside decision. It was just extra bad luck that the US scored a “normaly” regular goal out of this.) But wrong offside calls often happen.
btw. To be serious there is no way the US can win the WC anyway ;-)
They don´t need a referee to stop the US from winning the WC.
Sorry but there are a lot of better teams out there.
But who cares. Just watch how far the US can go and enjoy it.
