I have a Pit Bull neighbor with teen parents and a two year old. So far, runs with other relative children in the yard and accepts treats from me between the fence. The dog is perhaps pushing one year old.

I don’t give marauding dogs a second glance/chance...
223 works well....
I must add that I do live in a rural setting, and not everyone has the privelleages that arrive with this...
