Ever since Saturday, 19Jun2010, I've been having a heck of a time accessing FR. I was unable to get on at all over the weekend, despite multiple attempts. Are we under attack by the Obamabots?

Thank you. I was wondering if the site had been shut down.
Time for another Freepathon to upgrade the servers.
good questions... i also have slow sign on
I am having similar problems
Its been a little slow at times but otherwise I’m good here.
Same here...my guess is a major cyber attack. Typical leftist thugs...they know they lose the arguments, so their solution? No discussion...
Sometimes they tell us what’s up, sometimes they don’t.
I’m seeing exactly the same. Very slow response time. Especially when I first try to get into FR. It takes FOREVER to open. Been that way since Sunday morning for me. THis is Tuesday afternoon. That’s a long time. I don’t recall having a problem linger for so long a time. Makes we wonder if there could be something going on with the Internet. However, every other web site I access — the response time is normal for me. . Only FR seems slow as molasses.
There is a quick fix yo can run f om you e
Be s re to set the pro rties into sea ch erms th d ju d mn ecks th erteri fic
I’m in Atl and now at full speed.
I thought it was my computer. At work FR is fine, but on my home computer I keep getting error messages.
My firewall is blocking Free Republic. I can load when the firewall is down.
Very slow and herky jerky here
LOL, no Paul-bots and Romney-bots....just kidding.
I’ve been able to access by going to google then to “forum news/activism.”
Remember that Free Republic has a back up board over on Yahoo.

I have had problems accessing on one of the home PC’s but not on the other in the next room.
