After hundreds and hundreds of rounds, I've never had a miss fire or hang and much of it hand loaded ammo with various charges and bullet weights.
My fav and most accurate round is 185 grain nosler hollow point loaded a little hot with unique powder and winchester primers.
The SEALs “use” the HK Mk23, which was nominally an “offensive handgun”. After all the bidding and selection was done (HK vs Colt), the resulting handgun was so huge that they didn’t really want it as a standard sidearm.
The primary sidearm was, and continues to be, the SIG P226 in 9mm.
