Does “rap music” qualify as singing? It sure qualifies as annoying...

You people are fools to miss the whole point: no raghead muzzies howling in the wind from a tower top five times a day.

Music, by definition, contains three parts: rhythm, melody and harmony. Rap has rhythm, but no melody. Since it has no melody, it can't have harmony. Rap, therefore, is 1/3 music, and therefore a "rap" number, diddy, whatever, can't be called a "song". Rapping is not singing.

However, it is so irritating and annoying, it should be a credible defense in murder trials. "But Your Honor, the deceased was listening to rap at loud volumes in traffic. Therefore, my client is not guilty of murder by reason of temporary insanity."

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
