No ‘True Conservative’ could oppose AZ HB 1070. This bill gives AZ Leo’s authority to enforce federal law and protect the citizens of AZ from the illegals pouring across the border. The Feds will not enforce Fed Law. McCain is wrong on just about everything, including the illegal alien issue. This is not about immigration, it is about protecting our borders and our country from the Mexican invasion. It is not about workers, we have double digit unemployment now, if you look at the real numbers. We do not need ‘workers’ from Mexico.

When I swore in at the MEPS station when I joined the Army as well as when I swore in for the police department I took the oath to uphold and defend the constitution of the United States, my state, county city and as a tribal officer the tribe. LEO’s already have authority to enforce immigration, its in their oath of office and position... With that said, why isn't it part of the defense of the AZ law?
