Most threads on FR are excerpts from news articles. People critique, agree with, disagree with, or otherwise give their opinions on the news article. A vanity is when someone posts their thoughts on something as if it’s a news article. It’s generally frowned upon around here, as we try to stick to legitimate news stories and not turn the board into an endless stream of blog postings.
That was not stated when I signed up. Why didn’t it warn me or block me from posting for 30 days then?
