No, not naïve. Just not as experienced as some older freepers at spotting trolls.

Hint: Newbie “I’m a conservative” posters talking hate, dropping f-bombs, and ignorant of freeper jargon are almost 100% trolls on assignment. They spout “I hate” because they think we’re a hate site. They drop gratuitous f-bombs because that’s what you see on leftscum sites (eg, DailyKos, DU, etc.) so they form that habbit. They pose as “ultra conservatives” to give cover to one or two disruptive points (here, anti the AZ law and pro McCain).

There are other indicators, but this one spikes an 11 on the 1 to 10 troll meter. Maybe a 12.
