Snacking on the very first of our tomatoes here in New England...stupice, cherry roma, tumbling toms, sungold select...tasty. Many others on the verge of turning, as well.

Roasting hot today, though...will have to get some plants out of the sun, as it heads toward 90. :-(

Getting a bumper crop of sweet cherry tomatoes and at the point where I’m giving away most of them because there are too many for just myself. They taste great with my lettuces and herbs. The cucumbers confound me because their growth remains stunted. There are few leaves and no flowers. They get as much sun and fertirlizer as the rest of the garden. Onions doing great and so is garlic. Our weather here in VA has been on the hot and humid side. Have to water later today.

its still cold and rainy here in the Inland Northwest...I've had some leaf lettuce and clipped some dill for salads but our first tomato will be many weeks from now..probably late August...and then its a rush to try to get them to ripen before the first frost...

and my flowers in my hanging baskets just don't look vigorous and flowing like they should....

well, we did see a very tiny little fawn last night and I guess that makes living here worth it...
