Lakers defeat Celtics in seven games 83/79!
The only thing I care about seeing happen LA is an earthquake.
It could have been a Bible Study Group for all we know.
Poor shooting tonight by both teams. Lakers had 37 free throw attempts and the Celtics 17. The difference in the game. Didn’t watch it closely enough to know if the fouls were really that one-sided.
The 80s Celtics and Lakers would have made mincemeat of either team.
HELL NOOOO LOL! this is LA we are bunch of gangstra LOL!
Congratulations to the Lakers—though I think Phil Jackson finally figured out (a bit on the late side!) that without Kendrick Perkins, the Lakers could use their “length” advantage with Lamar Odom, Ron Artest, Pau Gasol and even Andrew Bynum. They should have take advantage of this earlier and blown out the Celtics by the middle of the third quarter.
I could give a crap about the Lakers or the game, but “riot watch” is always suspensful when they win.
If you had lived through one and lost your home to it you won’t be so glib.
NKJV.
Yep, why not? America has already forgiven him for rape. It’s amazing what throwing a ball through a hoop can do to people.
Lakers by 3.5 give me my money.
Let me guess, with 2 minutes left in the game both teams had between 90 and 100 points, right?
Yeah, media hype and millions of dollars do it everytime.
No doubt. I'd even take the great Lakers and Celtics championship teams from the '60s and '70s over these guys. ....Chamberlain, Russell, West, Havlicek, Goodrich, Cousy, Baylor, etc.
OH OH
ktlanewsdesk reports of fires lit in the street at 9th & Figueroa. Officers being hit with bottles
What do you mean? Prior to 2008 the two of them haven't met since 1987.
Yeah now being reported that Olympic blvd get nail with fire
KFINEWS Small bonfire at Olympic & Fig put out, crowd dispersed. People leaving that intersection are jumping on cars.
To respond to Shrek’s comment about “deserving it more”, I offer Clint Eastwood from the movie “Unforgiven”:
“’Deserve’ has got nothin’ to do with it.”
If you need it...Phil Jackson coached teams, when winning the first game of a series - 48 and 0.
LOL, I soooooooooo don’t care
the annoucers were getting tingly feelings for the last 7 minutes every timethe lakers scored. when the celtics scored it was like who?
