Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck says “so far so good” outside Staples Center in the final moments of Game 7 of the NBA finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics.
Police spokesman John Romero says there have been two arrestsboth misdemeanors for drinking in public.
Police officers stood watch as a crowd began to grow on a street corner near the arena.
Several nearby roads and freeway off-ramps have been closed.
