People like Whitman have no underlying sense of patriotism or care for the coutnry or its wellbeing as such. Running for public office is just another power trip for them. I have much for respect for actual technology billionaires, like Bill Gates or Steve Jobs, than for managers like Whitman or Fiorina.
No, it’s not patriotism or integrity, it’s elitist isolation. These people are so wealthy that the only illegals that they know are the ones that clean their homes, mow their lawns and watch their kids. They don’t come into contact with the drug dealers, or the gang bangers. Most of the editorial writers for the WSJ are the same way. They don’t have a clue and they are only now beginning to see the problem.
