If we knew anything about this worthless execu-bimbo's "Business" career, no one would have run the silly broad for dogcatcher.

While perhaps not as feminine as the closeted Jerry Brown, she will serve more than adequately as the handpicked pro-forma opponent for that jakes cruiser.

Boxer and Brown must be ROTFLTAO with joy .... they have gone from "No Chance" to leading the race, thanks to the GOP, of course.

INCREDIBLE how eager RINOS are to betray the party base in favor of clowns who are going to vote for the democrat anyway!

Regardless of how you vote in a liberal vs. RINO race, make sure you send your donations to a conservative where it can make a real difference. No need to fund a RINO when a conservative donation is a few clicks away.

I agree, but that shows the work Whitman has to do to win over voters. In many minds, she has yet to prove she's any better than Brown.

The only way to shift the direction of the Republican party toward limited government conservatism is to vote such that liberal Republicans lose.

There are many trolls that come on this site and Preach this dogma. Many conservatives thought they would teach the Republicans a lesson in 2006 and the result was that Democrats took control of both the house and the senate and crippled any further Bush initiatives and blocked all appointments to judgeships or commissions such as the NLRB.

Again in 2008 the trolls and the crackpots urged us to teach the Republicans another lesson in conservatism. The result was Obama, the most corrupt administration this side of Hugo Chavez. Now we also have a Supreme Court being populated with out and out socialists who will be with us for decades. The country is being destroyed right before our eyes. We are headed to third world status.

So if you think you are exercising you guts, I suggest that you try to use a little common sense. Or maybe go back to the Democratic Underground.

Oh, MEOW! Get out the Friskies and milk! [^) YOWCH!

Pretty catty, and I must say from my own catty side, Whitman at a gut level repels me -- pure gut, and I exercise no logic or coolness or things that should prevail in political decisions! But if politics were not involved and it was an everyday meeting, I would see that she is frumpy, wears dowdy black when it makes her look sallow, and her voice ... AAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHH! I have heard her before in other women. Smug, condescending, smartest person in the room. *run!!!!*

I think I'd rather hear Hillary.

...teach the Republicans a lesson ...

When you turn the wheel on your car to make a right hand turn, you are not doing it to teach the car a lesson.

When sailors climbed into the rigging of sailing ships and messed with sails to change the tack of the ship, they weren't doing it to teach the ship a lesson.

Like you turning the wheel on the car, they were doing it to change the direction of forward movement.

What does "teaching a lesson" have to do with it?

How do you suggest changing the course of the foundering GOP ship?

Teaching the Republicans a lesson was he rational that some suggested for throwing the election to the Democrats

If you are talking about driving a car I agree that the way to get the car to turn to the right is to turn the wheel in that direction.

However we are not driving a car and there is no steering wheel in politics so your analogy does not make any sense.

In politics the candidate that gets 51% of the vote wins the election and gets to govern. By voting against the candidate that most closely mirrors your position you are likely to throw the election to the candidate that least closely mirrors your positions.

The GOP political party (not a ship) is based on principles that we share. If not enough people share our principles or have watered them down to the point where they are almost worthless the only solution is education.

We need to explain our positions more effectively. We need to convert more voters to conservatism. A revival.

We can convert voters to conservatism until we're blue in the face. If the GOP cannot field candidates to mirror conservative positions, the conversions will have been in vain.

And as long as liberal Republicans continue to win, the GOP will not be able to field candidates to mirror conservative positions.

A vote is a tool very much like the wheel on a car. It is not an abstract concept, it is a real tool whose use has real consequences, and that consequence influences the direction of the party. There is no "lesson teaching" involved.

The candidate that gets the most votes gets to govern. You say you want me to vote for the candidate that most closely mirrors my positions, but there is none. What you really want me to vote for is the Republican. I used to think the way you do, and I have many times for the sole reason that the candidate was registered in the Republican party, ended up voting for -- handing power to -- bad candidates who acted against my and America's interests, as surely as Meg Whitman will act against my and America's interests on many fronts -- 2nd amendment, illegal immigration, environmentalist power-grabs, and more government intrusion in business and personal affairs.

That approach has only made the Republican party progressively more liberal by the year, and is greatly responsible for making Obama possible. Had enough of us years ago refrained from using our votes, the ONLY tools available, to put into office big government liberal Republicans, then they would have lost and been forced to make way for Republican candidates that could win. But by making them win on the comforting illusion that we were being pragmatic, we set up very solid groundwork for the continued growth of big government liberalism in the GOP. As long as that big GOP government mindset continues to win elections, the GOP will continue to be liberal and apolitical voters will continue to understand that the GOP holds little more promise for them than the Democrat party.

Meg was one of these execu-bimbos who get installed to wreck a company, distracting the rube stockholders, while a corporate gang makes off with the swag.

She thinks the Hispanic vote will go for her in CA. Great marketing head. She'll pull 10% of the legal, latino vote, if she's lucky. The real problem is that the CA voters rolls are stuffed with illegals, living and dead, virtual voters, with entire virtual families and relatives living at fictitious address, multiple absentee ballots for each of the above categories. The Loretta Sanchez Computer Programs are now ACORN-ized and better than ever.

I fear the queer Jesuit will handle her very roughly and that she will drag down the rest of the ticket. Nice job, CA GOP ... Orly Taitz, Carly Fiorina (to whom all above execu-bimbo remarks apply in spades) and Meg Whitman? Wonder what the Aztlan flag will look like/

Losing is winning?? You have to be a troll.

During the primaries you support your most conservative candidate. During the general you support your party's candidate.

You fight for every vote and every inch of ground all of the way. That is how you gain control.

Your mentality is what elects people like "governor moonbeam" and Senator (not Ma'am) Boxer.
