Amen to that. I really don't see how any corporation in their right mind thought this through and said, "Yeah, I know how we can get around this . . ."

I don't know how much HD pulls this kind of stuff. I'm glad the guy won the lawsuit; I'm just kind of blown away by the amount.

Years ago I approached HD about contracting to clean their floors with a commercial machine in the Charlotte region. The Regional Mgr. told me they didn't clean their floors ever, and that they actually scuffed them up with machines< when they opened a store. About a year later I was in one of their stores and they had a service cleaning their floors. From what I understand, some lady fell in a store in or around Raleigh and they lost the lawsuit.
