I might wire it for 240V also. (JUST KIDDING!)

I can relate. Our neighbors let their cats out at night. Our hummingbird population is dropping and I'm finding cat do-do near trees and bushes. We have robins, doves, hummers and all sorts of other little birds in our trees. Their property is treeless...... Irresponsible pet owners = a pet peeve of mine.

I agree to the Nth degree. I recently rescued one of the few kittens in the neighborhood that wasn’t wild. We got her spayed and tested her for Feline Leukemia so we could bring her inside while we looked for a home for her. Unfortunately, she was negative two months ago but yesterday came up positive, moments from having a new home. We had to euthanize one of the most wonderful, trusting cats I have ever known because some idiot thought it was better to keep the cat happy by letting it roam outside.

When are people going to learn? Yes, some cats do appear to be happier outside, just as some toddlers appear to be happier eating nothing but candy. It’s up to the responsible adult to make the decisions, despite the desires of the things we care for. If I ever find the human being that let this poor soul outside, I will surely end up in prison for the lesson I will teach him or her.
