I just replaced the hummingbird feeder that a cat pulled
down while trying to get the hummingbird. If I catch him he
may end up on a leash with his feet off the ground.

I can’t wait for the requirement for liberals to be on a leash!

I have cats and I have hummingbirds. My cats are not allowed outdoors EVER. They get to watch the hummingbirds from inside the deck door. along with us. They’re safe indoors (coyotes, wolves and neighborhood dogs can’t harm them). They have yet to see a live mouse and I’d prefer to keep it that way. We have a robin nesting (4 eggs) in the deck timbers and can hardly wait to see the eggs hatch!

I’d really like to see them put a leash on this cat.

At this point, if it wants to, you’re pretty much cat chow.

No cat I have ever owned would tolerate a leash long enough for me to even put it on him. Glad you included the pic to show it is possible though.

That’s just silly. Birds are to cats, as beef cows and chickens are to humans. It’s a staple...

I'd like to see somebody try to put a leash on my cat. She goes outdoors to mouse and play during the day, and we've purchased 5 or 6 collars so that she wouldn't be treated as a stray if she ever wandered off the property. The collars disappear within minutes.

She is a sweet, preciously gentle cat until you try to get her to wear something.

We live in the country and this is a wild cat that I see
occasionally. I’ll solve the problem by mounting the bird
feeder higher up. I might wire it for 240V also. (JUST KIDDING!)

I don’t think it got the bird. If it had of I probably would
have seen feathers. Also, had it grabbed it, it wouldn’t
have been able to grab the feeder. I’m hacked it broke a
nice blown glass feeder.

I've heard of spoiling pets, but furnishing their birds with
delicious stuffing?
