I don’t think so. It just means more teams to share the money with.

In fact, I think that was part of the idea from Texas’ perspective, they knew Nebraska wanted to leave, and Colorado as well.

So it’s a win-win, a bigger TV contract, and fewer teams to have to share it with.

They will need to realign the teams since Nebraska and Colorado were in the same division. I still believe the Big 12 will add more teams to replace the two that left. I would to like to see them add Utah and perhaps BYU. It would add two good football and basketball teams.
