My brother-in-law is Ret. Marine Lt. Col. and just retired from private contractor at MacDill (CentCom). He traveled to Bahrain and Qatar almost every month doing anti-terror work.
He recently sent me an e-mail about military bases being probed by jihadis. Could this be a probe? Updates when available.

Military bases have been probe for a long time now it will not be long before they are successful and we will have another Ft Hood only this time it will be from outsiders.

Vacationing in Tampa. We were just there at the exchange, saw a commotion but figured since we were able to leave the base it wasn’t too serious. I have no doubt they have been testing reactions. Stay safe all.

The incident reportedly involved a vehicle that contained ammunition and guns. Could be someone trying to steal weapons and ammunition.
Insider get’s his outside contact on base then loads up their car and they drive off base with the goods.
