Thank you. I think the big demarcation here is between people who fully understand narcissism and those blessed with never having gotten to know a pathological narcissist on a deep and personal level. There is no room in a malignant narcissist’s world for God. God would tell them what to do and not do, and no narcissist will stand for that. They are their own god.

Narcissists do, however, take a truly sick pleasure in laughing at the rubes who believe in God. This is one of the stock ways by which a narcissist proves to himself that he is the intellectual and moral superior of all those around them: he has seen over the God-myth, and is able to look down with disdain on the bitter clingers who lack his intellectual depth and acuity.

I tend to agree with you. I can’t see him deferring to any higher power, or even acknowledging the existence of one. Don’t think his ego can tolerate that. I also think he is basically incompetent and someone else is pulling the strings. My opinion, FWIW.

Atheist may be a bit strong. I suspect he's more of an agnostic, or even more likely, someone with a vague idea about God but doesn't want to live with the restrictions that any actual religion might place on him.

But this idea about him being Muslim is so absurd, I can't believe anyone takes it seriously.

There are too many idiots around here whose grasp of logic is so poor, they find the following argument persuasive:

Obama bad.
Muslims bad
Ergo Obama=Muslim.

I get more and more dissapointed with this place every day.
