If you can turn up any kind of reference I would be extremely interested in seeing it. I’m not the greatest internet sleuth, but I took time yesterday I didn’t really have and tried to track down a citation myself. When I failed, I contacted someone who follows these things closely. I figured if somebody like O’Brien had come out in favor of letting fully delivered, living, breathing babies die slowly unattended in the dirty linen room, she’d know about it. In fact, if it happened, I still think she’d have gotten wind of it. But who knows. You may yet find the documentation. As I said, I’ll be interested in seeing it any time.
