Obama has apparently confirmed what many have suspected since the presidential campaign: that he is a Muslim, not a committed Christian, as he professed during the presidential campaign.
The periodical Israel Today has reported that in a private meeting with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Obama told Gheit that he is a Muslim. The exchange was aired on Nile TV.

It's ironic that he lives within blocks of Farrakhan.
Well, if that's the case, then he's certainly not Muslim or a committed Christian. Judging by his actions and statements, I'd peg him as a post-Modern agnostic who once attended Church for networking purposes.
If this was really publicly broadcast on TV, SOMEONE must have recorded it. At the very least, there should be a transcript.
I'll believe it when I see it. Until then, call me skeptical, for the simple reason that Obama does not behave like a Muslim.
Judging by his behavior alone, he seems like a pretty typical post-modern leftie who thinks religion is beneth him, or a quaint supersition of the masses to which one must condescend.
If it walks like a duck...
I'm sorry, but I'm not inclinded to take one guy's word for it without any corroborating evidence.
If Obama really did say that on publicly broadcast TV, there's bound to be a recording somewhere.
Don't you find it just a wee bit strange that a video of it hasn't surfaced on youtube?
He is or is not a Muslim.
On a ferry boat trip from the Philippines to Malaysia talked to two Muslim businessmen..they said Obama is a Muslim based on his father being a Muslim.
good points all... I agree.
We should locate a video of Obama touching his chest when he discusses Islam.
Thank you. :)

Jeremiah Wright was a member of the NOI before he started his Trinity “Church”. I saw on Youtube a series of videos referenced on FR - have no idea how to find them again - by an Egyptian Christian. He called up the Trinity Church and said he wanted to attend and maybe become a member. IIRC it was during the campaign. The woman who answered the phone was most pleasant and welcoming.
The Egyptian guy then mentioned that he was a Muslim and was that okay? The woman answered that “Many of our members are Muslim”. He then asked if 0bama was a Muslima nd the woman hung up.
” ... then he’s certainly not Muslim or a committed Christian. Judging by his actions and statements, I’d peg him as a post-Modern agnostic who once attended Church for networking purposes. “
I couldn’t agree with you more. The idea that Obama believes there is objective, transcendent truth, and it is to be found in a medieval religion, is ludicrous to anyone who’s every truly studied the man. Obama’s imitation of Nobody a post modernist is too perfect to be entirely faked. Plus, no true narcissist will humbly submit himself to the rigid rules a legalistic religion such as Islam imposes on its followers. Rules are for the little people; messianic phenomena like Obama write their own tickets.
The word ‘Nobody’ needs to be deleted from my post. I don’t even know where it came from. I certainly didn’t put it there. ::shrugs:: ;)
We three are of the same line of thinking. Just as Satan attempted to exalt himself above God and met with disastrous consequences, so will this narcissistic man. The real question remains: Do the American people get dragged down with him for choosing such a false-leader?
He submits or humbles himself before no God. His egotistic personality is complete with vanity, conceit, and selfishness. His aura of pseudo-elitism belies an indifference to the plight of the American people. His pathological narcissism is the outcome and protective response to an unempathic and inconsistent early childhood interactions.
Still, that in itself does not fully explain the audacity of his sense of entitlement and superiority. We do not truly know from where he came or what he has been told of his origins. We do know that his omnipotent attitude will eventually be key to his unravelling.
You've seen it?
You’ve touched on one of the most intriguing aspects of Obama’s WH tenure. Namely, his failure to repudiate any of the messianic and actual ‘god’ talk associated with him. [It was one of the Newsweek writers - maybe Evan Thomas - who said ‘Obama is a kind of a god’ (if that’s not the verbatim quote, it’s very close).] Never once has Obama disputed or distanced himself from such accolades. In fact, when he spoke at Georgetown, he ordered all Christian symbols covered up - as if the room wasn’t big enough for two messiahs at one time. Chilling.
Interestingly, the New Testament records a similar incident. The people of Tyre and Sidon came together to hear Herod speak. When he did so, they kept shouting, ‘the voice of a god and not of a man.’
So what happened to Herod, for his failure to disabuse the people’s misconception?
“And immediately an angel of the Lord struck him because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and died.” (New American Standard Version.)
Maybe Obama thinks because it didn’t happen immediately it won’t happen at all. Lots of people have misread God’s grace and patience that way...to their utter ruin.
Personally, I don’t believe Obama will take all of America down with him. There are too many people praying and interceding for this country for that to happen, imho. I do think that Obama needs to shape up fast, however, or face a terrifying fate. Fwiw.
If not, I suggest you do. In context, it doesn't mean what you think it means.
