Obama has apparently confirmed what many have suspected since the presidential campaign: that he is a Muslim, not a committed Christian, as he professed during the presidential campaign.
The periodical Israel Today has reported that in a private meeting with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Obama told Gheit that he is a Muslim. The exchange was aired on Nile TV.

I stopped reading your post after the first sentence. This one.
Muslims dont permit Christian Bibles because they have their own version. That statement is so bereft of intellect it doesn't even merit a reply. You should not, however, be unaware of Muslim reverence for the Old Testament.
I'll repeat, muslims spit on, urinate on, defecate on, and burn the Bible. If you aren't aware of that or if you think that somehow reflects their reverence for the Bible you need to take some time out and ponder the word "reverence."
Thank you; it was very kind of you to take the time to say that. I do sometimes hesitate to post my thoughts on Obama and religion, since they are at variance with what some of my fellow Freepers believe. Ultimately, every poster in good standing on this board is on the same side. Debating each other, therefore, is not as productive as uniting against liberalism wherever and whenever we encounter it.
Otoh, there’s something to be said for understanding Obama’s psyche. My personal view is that it’s far darker and more twisted and dangerous than even the majority his critics realize. The vile pleasure he takes in hoodwinking friend and foe alike is part of the witch’s brew, imho, and so merits exposure once in a while. For, as you said, what it’s worth. ;)
I won’t reply to you again until you apologize for lying about my previous post. It was an open and shut boldfaced lie, no shades of gray. That was wrong. If you are going to pretend you didn’t do it, then debate yourself; I’m through. [I already explained the point on which you lied; I’m not going to repeat it. If you don’t know, reread my previous posts.]
Hint: if you want to have an open, respectful debate with a fellow Freeper, then don’t wholly misrepresent what they said. If you do, apologize for the error. If you can’t bring yourself to do something so basic, then there is no point in taking this discussion any further. You don’t win debates by lying about the other person or their sources, period.
I most certainly wouldn't lie about you. Your own ridiculous comments are damning enough.
Perhaps you can help me out.
I don't lie...but if I made a mistake I will gladly apologize.
“Nile TV”. Now, that’s funny.
Did you even read my last post? I already pointed out your lie.
Note 1: ignoring what the Koran and Hadiths actually say is your right, and the right of anyone who prefers ignorance over being informed. Calling me ridiculous for NOT ignoring what they say is just plain disgusting.
Note 2: I don’t expect you to apologize. My experience is that people who smear their fellow Freepers falsely do not then apologize. Fwiw.
Note 3: Have a good day. Just don’t post any more to me if you are going to ignore what you said about my sources that was wrong. Admit your slander, or go heckle somebody else.
I know. I’ve made that point many times myself.
You ask for an apology and when I try to figure out how I might have wronged you (so I can apologize) you talk in circles.
In simple terms, how did I lie or smear you?
This said, I still think your comment that Obama isn't a muslim because he dissed the Bible (here's the link to the video...Obama mocks the Bible) is patently ridiculous.
Also, Obama’s Muslim friends in Chicago, ie, the Muslim Bar Association (it's Pres went to work for Obama Campaign), that group and many more claim to support the Obama agenda, which includes abortion, homosexuality, etc.
So I am not sure those ideological issues matter when they consider themselves in a war...in which they are allowed to lie, among other things.
I do wonder about his kids tho, do you think he is giving them a spiritual education at home?
People are paraphrasing the article and getting the wrong idea what the interview was. The interview that aired on Nile TV was the Egyptian minister repeating what was said to him, personally, in confidence BY obama during a private meeting.
muslims cannot resist bragging. It never occurred to Geith that anyone besides muslims would be paying attention.
Someone else was.
Homosexuality is routine in islam. It is a way of life. There is no word in arabic for homosexual for that reason. You misunderstand the PUBLIC opposition. islam does not want islamic men to be humiliated in the eyes of the rest of the world so those who flaunt it are dealt with harshly.
That is why homodinehad made the statement that homosexuality does not exist in iran...as WE know it.
As for the rest, a muslim is forgiven EVERTHING, including calling oneself a Christian, if it advances the cause of islam. Taqiyya.
I will watch your vid at the fist opportunity. You have posted very good resources in the past, and I am curious to see what this one contains. Thanks for the link.
My main point, when it’s all boiled down, is that both the Koran and the Hadiths command Muslims to respect certain parts of the Old Testament. The Pentateuch is primary among them. Obama took it upon himself to publicly mock the command to stone people for adultery, etc. The video is very disturbing, because it comes across as a smirky, smarmy jerk, mocking the God of the Old Testament with an, ‘I’m way too cool to believe any of this stupidity’ attitude.
Some seem to believe a closet Muslim is free to mock God as he sees fit. From all that I have read—and I’ve studied this extensively—that’s just not the case. The lies Muslims are encouraged to tell non-believers simply don’t involve this type of behavior. Fwiw.
"I've always been a Yankees fan"...Hillary Clinton.
The Arabs often seem to assume that no one is listening or watching when they speak in Arabic. They've spilled a lot of beans over the years making that mistake, which doesn't always mean anyone in the West will take it seriously.
I am taking this one seriously.
Real.
On top of that, Jeremiah Wright’s major at U of Chicago Divinity School was IIRC Islamic Studies (all references to such on the internet have been scrubbed). It was said that he adopted Christianity because he didn’t want to live in Farrakhan’s shadow (muslims are welcome at TUCC).
