I’m torn on this issue.
I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near people blowing these things as at 127 decibels your hearing will be damaged in hours of this crap.
The flipside is that it does drown out color commentaries by announcers.
Like I said, torn on the matter. Probably if I was forced to watch it, I’d watch it on tv from my couch, muted.
Can’t we just ban soccer?
Yesterday I was told by a soccer afficiando that “vuvuzela fever” is catching on in other nations as well. Could be a world-wide scourge before long.
It should be put to good use — perhaps on imprisoned terrorists.
And political debates ! My God, the possibilities are endless !

Yesterday morning I had the tv on in my bedroom watching the socccer game and I was in my bathroom closeby. When I heard that buzzing sound that the vuvuzela’s give off and I thought what is that. I thought maybe my water heater was making an odd noise and I was relieved to see that it was the noise from the soccer game.
Moogly, vuvuzela ... so many weird, nonsensical words in FR headlines tonight.
Should I get to the doctor? I’m halfway afraid this is indicative of a mild stroke or something.
Does any of this make sense to others, or is it just me, lol?
