As opposed to the SEC where Texas would have to play LSU, Alabama, Florida and Georgia possibly all in the same year. And in a short while teams like Auburn and Tennessee will regain their stride.
Or they can play ummm, OU and...USC(with an arm tied behind their back) once every three years.
Over the past 11 years (’98 -'08) the SEC holds a 20-17-0 (.541) advantage.
Against the Big 12’s predecessor (the Big Eight) the SEC had a 43-43-6 (.500) record.
Where ever Texas ends up, we'll be willing to take on some new whippin boys. LOL! Like I said, there's not that big a discrepancy. It all comes out in the laundry.
