Missouri talked a big game and claimed they were joining the Big Ten and now it looks like they are heading to the Mountain West or Conference USA.
Missouri talked nothing. All the “talk” was media hype and speculation. I don’t believe Missouri wanted the Big 12 to break up. Ultimately the others in the conference had other ideas and talked a different game.
Mountain West just snagged Boise State and are supposedly interested in KU and K-State. Missouri, Iowa State, and Baylor seem to be the odd teams out.
