It appears that most movies made today are about the mind set of the 13 year old.
How many Die Hards have there been and they all suck. How many Rambo’s. The worst spin off ever was the Gone With the Wind one. That truly sucked. I could have done better writing myself.
I’ve never seen a Rambo or a Die Hard. Just not my idea of fun. Except for a bit of that Rambo movie that had Afghan cavalry in it, because a friend of mine was a horseback-extra and he made all of us watch the few milliseconds when he and his horse were visible in the mob ;-)l.
The Gone with the Wind sequel was so bad- you are right. My 12 year old could have written it better. Almost the worst was it appeared that the author didn’t read the first book- just watched the movie (which was excellent, but changed something very big from the book- that Scarlett had more than one child). I want to burn the memory of that from my brain almost more than the Star Wars prequels.
By far, no. The worst spin-off was Shock Theory.
(And yes, you can honestly say that a movie as bad as the original getting a sequel, we deserve what we get, but still.....)
