Mizzou started this whole mess. Alden pushed for about two years to join the Big 10. Now they got shafted and screwed the other members of the Big 12.

Father Tom Osborn showed he was the worlds biggest whore. He just couldn’t beat Texas so he destroyed the big 12 being the 2nd one out the door. Osborn didn’t give a dam about rivaly or tradition. What a fool Father Tom turned out to be.

I wouldn’t expect anyone from Kansas to like Tom Osborne. Neither Kansas nor Kansas State ever beat a Nebraska team that Tom coached - 25 years w/o a Jayhawk or Wildcat victory over the Huskers. Oklahoma State never beat an Osborne coached Nebraska team either, btw.

No, I am not a Big Red fan, though I lived in Lincoln 12 years and was somewhat inundated with Husker hype. I am an Iowa State alum. I am a Big 8 fan, and liked it better when it was still the Big 8.

Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State and maybe Oklahoma State will be left of the ‘Big 8’when it is all said and done. Missouri will likely go to the Big 10, though that is not a done deal yet.

It is too bad that the NCAA is all about money. And it is too bad that there is a BCS. That is no playoff and it reeks of politics. If there had been a good playoff system in place, this would likely not be happening now.
