Why is your minor daughter answering the door? Why didn’t she close the door when she realized what was being asked?
What if it had truly been a bad guy with murderous intent instead of a government worker wanting to know how many people lived there?
My daughter answered the door because the sitter was busy with another child. When I am not home the door is kept locked and she thought that it was me coming back. The worker started firing questions at her. She DID shut the door. Had it been a murderous guy at the door my dog would have proceeded to rip out his throat while my oldest son got the shotgun.
