oh my gosh, i don’t even know what the other person is talking about. I know what you’re talking about, you are talking about purposely being cruel to someone just trying to do their job. There is an absolute way you can communicate your displeasure over whatever it is you disagree with the census. I worked for it, and I still only filled out 2 people live here, and I put American as our nationality. The rest I put as “refused to answer”
It’s not really a big deal - I just don’t think there’s a reason to be rude to a census person who probably doesn’t even like what they are doing, but need to pay their rent or other bills.
Your true character shows and you’re training your kids how to respond by your actions.
The census itself is not immoral.
I disagree that I am being cruel to someone ‘just doing their job’.
I look at it as having a bit of sport with someone that harassed my minor daughter when told that I was not home and to go away.
