I'm all set. Several sets that will work on a WIDE range of frequencies, a nice array of antennae on the roof and a variable 500 watt amp for just in case.

Believe it or not, there is a fair amount of chatter across many bands about this very subject. People are creating new, and maintaining older current nets.

The NorCal 40A is a fantastic QRP rig. It has had some great write-ups.

Currently, I'm spoiled and somewhat partial to theYaesu FT-897D. It's a very portable unit and can operate in QRP as well. It's a sort of one unit does it all, so to speak. :) Micro QRP rigs are startng to feature SMT and that stuff is way too small for my eyes and old hands.
