Blueberries grow as a bush, unlike the other kinds of berries. I’ve known them to be rather well behaved (in Washington State)in contrast to blackberries and raspberries. I have a bunch of them (different kinds) sitting in my garage right now waiting to planted here in a problematic bed. Tubebender knows all about BBs, althuogh he keeps his in a jail so he can keep them all to himself without sharing them with wildlife. He’s sort of possessive about things like that. They do have to have the old canes removed after the bearing season.

we have about a dozen blueberry bushes.....they've grown poorly...we did transplant them 2 years ago...we had blueberries last year but not anywhere near a gallon....

this year I'm concentrating on keeping them watered and using miracid....
