“The irony of the progressive message is that as an individual, you are not capable of governing yourself, but, some of us (government) are capable of governing all of us.”
Well put.
they think that YOU and I aren’t capable of governing ourselves, but of course, since they are soooo smart and know allll the answers, and since they are always correct- THEY are capable of governing their own self- something we evidently lack. /s
Progressive thought must be destroyed everywhere it exists and progressives driven from every perch and pillar and post where they occupy power and influence and driven into obscurity.

Thank you. Your essays are worth a lot; I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the thought provoking content (and your dedication to promoting Truth).

It seems like an appropriate time to re-visit this. Hope all is well with you. The book proceeds slowly, but it’s coming together.
Thinking about the The Camp of the Saints - a metaphor for our times. Also the title of a chapter in the book.
Are you thinking about Raspail's novel or Revelation 20:9 (or both perhaps!)?
Both, actually.
Sorry to hear about your low point. But that’s the true value of having high-trust family and friends, isn’t it? Low-trust/no-trust leftists are so alone....
First off, to call a rabid, leftist liberal a ‘progressive’ is an accomodation I’m not willing to make. They are defective human beings, period. DNA fluke, character flaws, enzyme imbalance - whatever you want to ascribe to it - they are plainly mentally defective. And, with that realization they are no better than rabid dogs that need to be dealt with.
The battle cry of progressives in America to the rest of us seems to be “your life sucks and if you don’t realize that you haven’t been paying enough attention.”
I dislike progressives because they ten dot plug my toilet.
Understood. one of the points y brief essay on this subject is that it doesn't much matter what innocouous term du jour they use to mask their intentions. It's all maskirovka and they're all enemies of human freedom and dignity. The worst of them are monsters - killers without conscience.
There is only one way to stop them.
In the vernacular of our erstwhile pResident [when he's teleprompting before the NAAXP], "Tru Dat!"
Actually, their battle cry is that your life isn’t yours. All else proceeds from that.
I thought so!
But thats the true value of having high-trust family and friends, isnt it?
Yes, indeed. (I brought it all upon myself, I failed to heed General "Vinegar" Joe Stillwell's motto: "Illegitimi non carborundum!")
Glenn Beck may be reading you; he’s started referring to our opponents as “monsters”, too.
Really? That's interesting. But anyone who knows the pedigree of their ideas - and thus, where they want to take this country - would probably call them monsters - or worse. Trouble with Beck is that he's following the Ghandi meme. Not such a good idea, here, now and in this place.
BTW, “High Trust / Low Trust / No Trust” is also one of the chapter titles. Part of the destructive Gramscian meme is to take a high-trust culture down to a no-trust culture. Universal distrust is a necessity for the implementation of a police state. Or worse.
Think about it: why were the likes of Bernie Madoff and so many others allowed to do what they did for as long as they did? Even in the face of numerous whistle blowers.
