Wow, with Colorado making the move and Nebraska rumored to be going to the Big 10 + 1 (now 2) tomorrow, I think it’s all over for the Big 12. The other five teams will go to the Pac 10 + 1 and we’ll see if Mizzou gets an invite to the Big 10 + 2.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Missouri and Notre Dame join Nebraska in the Big 10 (+4). Two seven team divisions divided geographically (East/West):

EAST

Michigan
Ohio State
Notre Dame
Michigan State
Penn State
Indiana
Purdue

WEST

Nebraska
Iowa
Illinois
Wisconsin
Minnesota
Northwestern
Missouri

I would think that Missouri is certain to move over to the Big Ten. They were rumored a few weeks ago as the first team to make the move. Nebraska as it turns out has beaten them to it. Oddly enough it probably guarantees that they’ll move now. You don’t want to be the last university standing (in the Big 12) when the music stops.

Shouldn't that be the Big 10 + 3? They didn't change the name when Penn State joined.
