His idol was Hank Wiliams, but he outdid him long ago.

Thank you! George Jones is just as much a Texan as George Strait (Although he’s an East Texan) and was raised not more than 50 miles from my present residence and he spent a lot of time in his youth in my home town of Beaumont.
