not as much as an 1894 in 45-70 :)

my problem with the ‘94 in .44 is they seem to need .432” cast bullets, or really slow loads, else they tumble.

It depends. My new Trapper ( New in box ) shoots like a dream. The older "Ranger" that I ditched couldn't hit a barn. Funny, the trapper is 4" shorter. I like the 94's, because they ain't so testy about length. Load 'em up
