"I happened to see something in the air that did not look 'right', and as luck would have it, I had within reach a cheap plastic camera (the kind that used to take 127 size black and white film), and I managed to snag 3 pictures while furiously turning the film advance knob, and this is what I saw in 1968:
Now I don't care if anyone wants to p*ss all over this, because I know what I saw, I took the pics, and I've never seen anything like it before or since. The object moved at a speed far beyond jet aircraft, and being in Montgomery County Maryland at the time, I was no stranger to seeing a lot of jet traffic both civilian and military flying overhead. Anyway, that's my story and I'm still sticking to it 42 years later.

INDEED. ME TOO.
And Stanton Friedman has that kind of guts in abundance.
And backs his courage up with EXTENSIVE archival etc. research.

I live near Stephenville, Texas, and while I didn't see the lights here that made the national news, some months later I did see something that has had me since checking the skies every time I go outside.
My daughter and I were just outside Stephenville and headed towards Dublin in Feb '09 at 7:00 PM when we noticed dead ahead in line with the highway a line of lights that would have had to be MASSIVE, larger than ANY plane, and with a bit of a curve to it which suggested it was the visible side of a circle. It was not very high in the sky,was stationary and directly over the town of Dublin. At the same moment we each exclaimed something like, Oh,my God! or something similar that let us know we were both seeing it. The lights just came on, stayed about 5 or 6 seconds and went off.
We watched in silence for several seconds as they came back on again, and again only for 5 or 6 seconds, then off once more, never to reappear. We noticed that between the two pulses, the object seemed to be slowly rotating towards us. The lights weren't very bright, more like a twinkle, and wouldnt have noticed them at all if it hadn't been dead ahead. The thing would have had to be a mile or more long. There was still plenty of daylight, no one had yet turned their car lights on, and yet, when the lights of the object blinked out, NOTHING was visible.
I hope it was ours. I doubt it was.
Been reading the book, The Black Swan. It's point is that we should not confuse the fact that there is no evidence for something with the alternative, that there is evidence that there is nothing.
Just because something hasn't happened, perhaps for many years, say discovery of hard proof, doesn't mean it won't. Events routinely happen that are not predictable. The analogy is that a turkey is fed and cared for for 1,000 days. He has no evidence that anything untoward would be done to him by his caregivers, on the contrary they take good care of him. But on the 1,000th day, they kill the turkey, it's almost Thanksgiving. 1,000 days of no evidence of that event seemed like proof that it wouldn't happen. Wrong. Don't be a turkey.

I conducted a two-year study of the UFO phenomenon back in 1989, and I regularly review new information as it appears. My conclusion was and is that natural phenomena or misidentified (human) aircraft are behind most UFO sightings. I also suspect that many of these misidentified aircraft are high-performance aerospacecraft “owned and operated” by a quasi-military organization or group external to the Department of Defense and not formally connected to the visible U.S. government. This is how Air Force generals can claim they have no idea what a given UFO might be — the organization that built and operates the “UFO” is above top secret, and not part of the U.S. military at all.
That being said, three well-known UFO incidents exist which I believe represent something truly mysterious, something outside the boundaries of what we consider to be Reality. These are:
1. Roswell, New Mex. 1947. And the ludicrous government cover stories keep on coming. Well, in my book, where there’s smoke, there’s fire. I can’t say if the stories that have surfaced over the years describe an alien saucer crash or something else, but I am certain that _something_ strange happened that July in eastern New Mexico.
2. Kecksburg, Penn., 1965. Ditto Roswell. There are a whole lot of awfully strange stories surrounding what happened the night the “acorn-shaped object” fell from the sky.
3. Cash-Landrum, c. Humble, Tex. 1980. Swamp gas doesn’t scar people for life. The radioactive exhaust from an above-top-secret nuclear-powered spacecraft, however... Still compelling, 30 years after.

THANKS FOR YOUR QUALITY POINTS ABOUT VERY IMPORTANT CASES and the topic in general.
Much appreciated.
I don’t believe that the 20% or so truly ‘other’ type cases are mostly natural phenomena.
It is hard to guess amidst the disinformation etc. which are craft controlled by the oligarchy and which are craft controlled by fallen angels/ET’s.
Percentages would also be hard to guess.

Thanks for your excellent and interesting narrative.
Reporting that to the local reporter or MUFON would enable multiple sightings of the same thing to ferret out more info, BTW.

That is a stunning story, Mam. You and your Daughter know what you saw, and I am as certain as you are that it wasn’t “swamp gas” or any of the other faux excuses that are routinely offered up by ‘our government’.

Jesse Jr is a FREEPER.
I have met him face to face.
He is also a decorated military surgeon who went back in service because his specialty was so needed in Iraq though he was more than 70 years old.
He knows what he saw as did his dad.
He knows it was not anything like either of them had ever seen.
The foil behaved as described.
The symbols on the very light weight metal I beam were also of nothing known. Jr saw and handled both.
I fiercely resent the cheeky insulting accusations to this decorated veterans integrity, honesty, IQ, perspective, horse sense etc.
Well said Brother Quix, bravo and **** BUMP ****

THANKS FOR YOUR KIND REPLY.
That stuff that more or less assaults Jesse really irritates me.
He’s a wonderful man.
He’s a wonderful Veteran.
He’s a wonderful Christian.
He’s a wonderful FREEPER.
GRRRR.

Stanton Friedman does have some good work but his beliefs about Reptilian shape shifters occupying high levels of government and society are a little... peculiar. No way!
Obama is DEFINITELY a Reptilian Shape-Shifter.
Not only that, but just look at his wife...
To: JoeProBono
I only went to one UFO conference. Was in the 1990s. Stanton Friedman was there. He’s been at it for years and gets more respect because he has a science background

You don't read very well, do you? I stated in my reply that, to quote it exactly:
"There is a vast, vast difference between understanding the mathematics of probability and the possibility of life on other planets and believing that E.T. has been flitting around Paducah."
Perhaps you need a little intellectual honesty.
There is nothing in that article that conflicts with what I said. Believing the the possibility, or even probability that there is life on other planets (something I have always taken as a given) is not the same as believing that aliens have been buzzing our planet, as much as you tin-hats would like to equate the two.
You are the one remeniscent of a liberal, not completely reading reading what is written, which, quite apparently, you are incapable of doing, projecting words and thought on me which I did not say.
Show me, give me one quote from that article in which Hawking says that we have been visited by aliens. The quotation which you threw at me certainly doesn't.
Apparently you are not the honest evaluator of fact that a "scientist" must be. You have intentionally misrepresented both what Hawking said and what I have said.

Here's a little something to help you in this discussion,
from the first line in the original post.
"Some UFOs are intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft, and this is the biggest story of the millennium."
NOw reconcile that with Hawkings statements . . . Mr. "scientist."

Bending so far over backwards to avoid a TYPE I ERROR that one is obsessively, compulsively sucking the tit of a TYPE II ERROR 24/7 is NOT REASONABLE. Great, now I have to explain to my boss why there's coffee in my keyboard.
Love the way you put that.
