Elton John and Rush Limbaugh may seem like an unlikely pair to be found at the same event, but perhaps a wedding is as good a place as any to put politics aside.

Rush should have hired Martina Mcbride or Lee Greenwood instead.

LOL. Do you really think this was Rush’s call? Methinks you need to speak to the new missus.
Yet, Rush invited this bigoted creep to perform at one of biggest events of his life?
<><><><><
Totally inappropriate laughter, but I’d probably suggest that this is now the 4th biggest event in his life.
Though I would have to agree with the brilliant philospher Alice Cooper(a Republican) when he sez
"If you're listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you're a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we're morons. We sleep all day, we play music at night and very rarely do we sit around reading the Washington Journal." - Alice Cooper
He’s not married. He entered into a civil union.
It’s about semantics, that’s all
???is Elton John's music necessarily queer???
I mean most of what I have heard is gender and preference neutral. At least to me is is....I like a good chunk of his music and am not so enamored with a good chunk of it...back in the mid 60's, when we took our girlfriends out on the floor for the slow dance 'chances are' it was to a Johnny Mathis song
Speaking of Johnny, he was a very dear friend of the Reagans.
Entertainment for a wedding........Who were you hoping for, Boy George and Culture Club?
Besides, you weren't invited (I know since I approved the guest list) because you can't separate politics from personal life.........and after you start drinking you think you can dance.
After I start drinking, I’m doing well to think I can walk.
And one of the greatest singers of all time.
“Well I guess as long as he shuts up and sings, what business is it of ours?”
Being able to tell Elton to shut up and sing would be worth some expendature of money.
But Elton talks about it all the time, it’s like I want to say, “Ok Elton, we get it, you’re gay.”
Excuse me for butting in RDTF, I checked the work schedule and you're not assigned thread monitor until September.......it's a seniority thing.
When you have male strippers dressed as Boy Scouts in your act and you call Christ a homosexual, I don’t give a rip how talented you are. That’s pure evil in my book.
If Rush can toss core principles out the window just because his current honey asks him to, then he had none to begin with.
Wonder what Mark Levin thought? I believe he was there. I’ve heard him rag on Elton John before.
Re: Core Principles
Rush threw out core principals when he refused to cover Obama’s eligibility. If Rush can't defend the Constitution ( **all** of it!) in the face of a little ridicule, why would we believe that he will defend the Constitution in the face of firing squads and concentration camps?
And...No, I don't consider a few lame joke and 5 minutes of time as “covering” the issue of Obama’s natural born status.
I'm with you on that.
FMCDH(BITS)
I like disco and I can sure dance baby! I even kept my platform shoes, lavender leisure suit and bell botom pants for just the right occasion...
If I can find the right gal to marry, I'm thinking of hiring the BG's to perform..........
So what do you know of Rush's personal life that qualifies you to make that statement?
I love disco too! Do my housework to it.
Just curious Sparky, I attended a Baptist church for about a year and a half and during the entire time, all the pastor dwelt on was 1st Corinthians.......How long has your pastor been preaching Corinthians?
But back to thread:
Matthew 7 is a command to judge in a non-hypocritical manner.
So that's your legal Christian disclaimer, right? LOL!
