I was thinking about an Amendment to the Constitution partially because I was thinking of Three Felonies a Day & Constitutional Chaos and all the jerking-around the Federal Government has been doing and this is what I came up with.
What do you think?

The rate of taxation shall be Five per cent of an individuals income. What are you, some kind of Communist?
The only thing we need to generate revenue is USER FEES. Of course, we need to privatise the road system, the police, the fire departments, the court system, and the military. Oddly enough, the only thing I think we should tax is marijuana, but that's just to provide a justification for legalising it.

Um, Communism needs a PROGRESSIVE income tax; IOW, it depends on people being treated unequally... this amendment prohibits ANY such discrimination in an Income tax.

Repealing the 17th Amendment would take the appointment of Senators from the “popular vote” and place it back into the States. {That way in Congress the People themselves are represented by Representatives & States are represented by Senators.}

Also, the rate of taxation being fixed in the Constitution would mean that the Constitution would have to be amended in order to change that rate.

Nice work... YOu need to add "Any current or former agent of the BATFE is hearby barred from any public office, federal or state employment, or any law enforcement duties in any capacity".

Absolute phv#$ing brainwashing!!!!!!!!!!!
WTF left the world to any one individual/group to “tax” (robbery at gunpoint, directly or indirectly, either willingly or otherwise, whatever!). That’s it, the anount of tax, great or small is no factor.
Related to Stockholm Syndrome; you may recall the numnutz also wanted George Washington to be their King...not much has changed!
Well, we finally have out KING—thanx a lot...

I direct your attention to section 7... as well to your state constitution for its definition of “militia.”

why repeal the seventeenth amendment? Do you know what the 17th Amendment did?
Instead of the state legislatures maintaining the reins of the states' senators, the 17th Amendment introduced the popular election of the senators.
Now do you understand why senators don't give a rip about what you and the other underling subjects think? The 17th Amendment allows special interests to "induce" the votes of senators and make contributions to their re-election campaigns to continue the facade of "public service."
I find it ironic that the 17th Amendment was passed at the same time as the 16th Amendment (taxation)in 1913. America has been on a downward trend ever since.

IOW we change from senators running in primaries weakly annointed by a national GOP into local parties cherry picking their own personal insiders behind their own closed doors.
That is why we left the old system.

What do you think?
I like most of it.
The details about software (6. D. i. - iv.) appear to be overly specific for this type of document.
I disagree with 8. a. ii.
8. a. v. seems a bit harsh.
8. b. overall seems redundant. Why differentiate between forcible rape regardless of when/where/how it was performed? I understand that the interstate part might be "required" for it to elevate to a federal issue, but I don't think that requirement is sound - especially in light of the example of 8. a.
Punishment for 8. e. (Conspiracy against rights) seems a bit lenient.
For 8. f. punishments should be extended to and defined for employers or others who harbor illegals.
For 8. g. (Perjury) additional punishment should be extended to those in the public trust who perjure themselves (police, politicians, prosecutors, judges, etc.)

I kinda figure Section 8-e & 8-c would effectively do that; besides which, targeting a single group of people like that is a Bill of Attainder.

I direct your attention to section 7... as well to your state constitution for its definition of militia. A militia isn't private. A militia still carries with it the stench of totalitarian government control. I want PRIVATE ARMIES!
