Vanity: Does anyone find those "links only" posts useful?

I never follow them up. I don’t know of anyone that does. I believe the purpose of those posts is to make the poster feel superior to whomever he/she is conversing.

I agree! I don't mind the scrolling, but I rarely will click into them. And an ignore feature would be great!

I'm really important and everybody should pay attention to me so I'm going to post this important link really big so everybody understands that I mean business and that my links are important. If you don't follow my important links you risk staying uninformed.

Hate, hate, hate them. They’re annoying as all heck.

There are usually too many links to be useful, too many to bother to look through. I just page down without bothering, but some are just endless and I have to page down several times to get to the next post. Ugh!.

You mean the posts that are 5 or 6 screens long that have the same pictures, same links and are posted about a zillion times, sometimes on inappropriate threads?

I call that "thread spam" and it's not exactly what I am talking about, though also annoying.
