You nailed it. Anyone who generalizes as much as this author does is short on facts and real life experiences. I’ve also noticed that men who dislike women—and conversely, women who dislike men—love broad, sweeping generalizations. It’s much easier to maintain prejudice against an entire gender by generalizing than by treating either women or men with basic respect and an acknowledgment of their individuality.
