Leftists do. They claim the marriages were just for show and to conceal Rush's homosexuality. They claim -- through a "British" source that his last wife signed an agreement not to reveal his homosexuality in exchange for a more lucrative divorce settlement.
I don't know how that explains the first marriage or two, though, since there was really no reason for him to be faking marriage when he wasn't a significant national radio personality...
