Lake Central Superintendent Gerald Chabot said school starts at 7:15 a.m.

That is OUTRAGEOUS!!!

7:15 a.m. For school kids? No decent person is getting up at the crack of dawn to do anything.

People who wake up early and expect the rest of the world to cater to them are destroying the universe.

They should be rounded up and exterminated, along with people who put mustard on hamburgers.

Ouch. I like mustard on hamburgers — though I think people that would abuse a fine burger with mayonnaise should be strung up.

My niece teaches in that area and they are an hour ahead of neighboring areas. She says it is terrible having to get up so early and then when possible weather conditions they have an hour delay for school to begin. In that case each one is responsible to let others know of the delay. It is crazy!

My day has always startes with breakfastr @ 5:00 from the time I was born 72 years ago!

I’m with you on the ‘no musTARD on hamburgers’ (or ANTHING) issue..

But I get up at 5:00 AM, get dressed, walk the dogs, feed/water the dogs, get breakfast for my family, make my wife coffee, and drive to work so I don’t have to sit in the parking lot that is a ‘freeway’.

It’s all the people who leave at the same time expecting no traffic that cause problems on the highways and byways.

Well that settles it then. No more will I rise at 4:15.

Of course one of many caveats to this whole gettin up at the crack-o-noon thing is that it also means that the people getting up at zero-dark-hundred to provide critical services like making doughnuts, eclairs, and Egg McMuffins will be sleeping in as well.....the horror.
