First thing first...re photos like the roses are leading to a steady decline in my mental health as we continue to have drippy yukky weather causing the Rose buds to mildew and making the Raspberries soggy.
Re with tongue in cheek may I suggest Velveeta or Cheeze Whizz for a topping. Wife type tells me she used to use a cheese and salsa concoction that came in a jar? The holes in the leaves look similar to the damage the Cabbage Looper(sp), a little green worm did to our cole crops when we grew cole crops.
Did I tell that photos of roses blooming, etc...
So sorry that I am making you sad. Those roses are pretty soggy this morning, but the sun is out and the sky is blue now...
Did I mention that my recalcitrant “automatic” waterer came on this AM at 5? Just after the rain stopped. I had to rush out in my bathrobe and waders to turn it off manually. That’s when I brought in the cauliflower. We got almost 2 inches in this last storm. But that was not enough for me to get my grow-through plant supports into the ground for the chrysanthemums. Could there be concrete under those beds about a foot down? Those plant supports have 30 in legs. I think I’ll have to cut them shorter, or they won’t go in the ground.
You know no self-respecting Wisconsin household would have those faux cheese-foods on hand!
Velveeta or Cheeze WhiOh NO ...artificial cheese is NOT good for your health! Use the real thing! ...the whiter the better.
